L’umiliazione delle Stelle is a 2010 exhibition by the famous writer and novelist Mauro Covacich.

The uniqueness of this exhibition comes from the fact that Mauro lends his body to Dario Rensich, a regular character in his novels and a former marathon runner who has become an art performer, starring in A perdifiato (2005), Fiona (2005) and Prima di sparire (2008).

Therefore, Mauro is a marathon runner, with a Hannibal Lecter-like mask and a strip around his chest – the mask is actually a spirometer monitoring his intake of oxygen and the strip, a heart rate monitor counting his heartbeats – and the main character of a non-traditional visual novel, 42 kilometres and 195 meters long, like a marathon. An exhibition lasts three hours and twenty minutes.

360 Degrees Film provided technical support, filming the performance and managing the whole exhibition for Fondazione Claudio Buziol.
