To celebrate the power of its low light technology, Sony held a unique event, Twilight Football. Around the globe, 7 football matches took place in 7 stunning world locations to show how Exmor R™ CMOS Sensor technology captures incredible detail and fast-moving action in low light filming conditions – one of the toughest challenges in digital photography and filming.

Against the backdrop of the Venice skyline, teams, supporters and competition winners jumped aboard water taxis to head to the floating arena. The match began at 6.31 pm with both goalkeepers, and the boats of photographers around the pitch, kept busy with fierce shots. In the twilight photographers take amazing pictures of Germany clinching victory with 3 late goals as the fading light brings the game to an end at 7.21 pm.

360 Degrees Film gave full support organizing the match on the floating pitch in the middle of the lagoon facing St. Mark’s Square.
